It is especially seen in hair and under the eyes. However, these can be treated with the following scientific methods mentioned below:
- Cupping Therapy
- Derma Roller
- Laser Treatment
Remove Freckles with Cupping therapy
Cupping therapy is one of the most successful and famous therapies used as an alternate medicine. A local suction is created on the skin at different spots with the application of heated cups. It is recommended for those patients who are experiencing freckles, dark spots, acne, etc. They are also applied on the patient’s back and face depending upon their needs. It comes in two forms, dry cupping, and wet cupping. However, In dry cupping, simply a suction is applied for several minutes with massage, acupuncture, or other alternative therapies. On the other hand, Wet cupping is similar including the toxic blood being removed using cuts in the skin.
How To Do Cupping Therapy?
Before starting the therapy, every tool is sterilized to avoid any inevitable. It takes a few minutes to complete the treatment following the procedure given below:
- A fire is lit inside the cups to lower their pressure
- These cups are then placed on the skin in different areas as per the requirements
- It turns into the blood flowing
- In wet cupping, an acupuncture needle is used to prick the skin to drain the toxic blood
- The toxic blood drains out of the body (into the cups)
- After the blood suction, the pressure is released and the body is cleansed.
Note: A device can also be used to manage the pressure instead of a flame.
This technique is widely used to treat freckles, dark spots, acne, and other diseases.

The device comes with different needle sizes ranging from 0.2 mm to 1.5 mm or more. Each device has a different number of needles ranging from 192-540. Also, each device with different needle sizes is used for different purposes. However, some of them are mentioned below:
|0.20 mm||Sensitive Skin|
|0.25 mm||Serum Absorption|

|0.75 mm||Reduce Acne Scars|
|1.0 mm||Hair Growth|
|1.5 mm||Reduce Stretch Marks|

OR, place a device under hot water for about 20-30 seconds or pour hot boiling water over the needles for a minute to completely rid of unwanted fungal and bacterial contamination.
- Apply thoroughly and gently over the affected area in horizontal, vertical, and diagonal movements. Make sure not to use too much pressure. Spend no more than 2 minutes doing this.

How to Remove Freckles with a Laser Treatment?
Erbium Yag Laser dissolves stained and freckled tissues on the skin with the rays it emits, allowing skin regeneration. This technique is usually done with an average of 1-3 sessions. By the end of the sessions, the freckles will be gone. Luckily, science has proven the outcome of laser technology which is generally safe. A common question being asked by the patients is whether freckles come back after treatment. Well, treated freckles do not come back as long as the skin is protected from the sunlight.
Freckles are efficiently targeted with Q-switched Nd: YAG lasers emitting wavelengths of 532 nm, whereas lentigines are more amenable to treatment with Nd: YAG lasers at 1,064 nm. The treatment usually ends with a highly satisfactory result, with the scabs falling off by the seventh day after treatment.
After the treatment, the surrounding of the affected area may turn red and darker than normal. However, the darker or swollen area typically begins to fade within 7 to 14 days. Patients will be able to see gradual results after a session recommended by any professional consultant.
