England cricket player (right-handed batsman) Jos Buttler surpassed Eoin Morgan (left-handed batsman) in the t20 international and became the top scorer. During the t20 match against New Zealand, the opener scored 73 off 47 balls which helped him become a top scorer for England in the t20 with 2468 runs in just 91 innings. Earlier, left-handed batsman, Eoin Morgan was the higher scorer for England in the t20 with 2458 runs in just 108 innings.

On Tuesday, England won the toss against New Zealand and opted to bat first. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler started an outstanding opening for their team that helped in a total of 179/6 (20_overs).

New Zealand made several mistakes which cost them a huge score in 20 overs. Fielding has been a key factor in the match where they failed to take early wickets and put pressure on England.

On the other hand, England also failed to make the expected score of 190 runs as they got off to a good start.

In the second inning, New Zealand lost two of their key wickets which put them under the pressure. The partnership of captain Kane Williamson and Glenn Phillips made the match interesting in a way. However, Glenn Phillips (62) and Kane Williamson (40) didn’t take them to win the match.

Last Over – New Zealand needed 26 runs in the final over but they managed to score only 6 which led them to score a total of 159 with the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.

Despite losing against England, New Zealand still retained its top position in the super 12 (Group-1).
