Today, we are more concerned about the Nearest Planets to Earth and Planets of the Solar System. The solar system is the collection of eight planets and their moons in orbit around the sun. Each planet remains in a different direction and distance around the sun. These include Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The earth travels towards an unknown destination at a speed of 4,000,000 miles per hour. However, the universe is so vast that we cannot even imagine it.

There are infinite stars, the sun, and so on. We reside on irregularly-shaped ellipsoid earth that is only a part of the universe. Despite this, It includes many uncountable creatures.

Nearest Planets to Earth and Planets of the Solar System

The solar system consists of eight planets and a sun. It has a billion of trillion asteroids. Some of the planets have multiple moons confirmed. Although, there is only one sun in our milky way galaxy. But, a 2016 study estimated two million or two trillion galaxies have multiple suns. That’s just the numbers found so far. More likely to come, waiting to be discovered. However, each sun has its different planets. What creatures reside on these planets? How do they survive? How do they look? ALLAH made them for what purpose? We are all completely ignorant to understand the fact.

Nearest planets to earth: Mercury is the closest planet to the earth and the sun. However, Venus planet may seem closer to the earth by its orbit. But, a big part of Venus’s orbit takes it far away. It is about 160 million miles away.

Planets of the solar system: There are millions and billions of galaxies. Each has millions of stars like the milky way. The milky way of earth can not be seen among these millions of billions of galaxies, planets, and stars. The status of our land is like sandstone in the desert. Also, if someone sits on any planet to find the earth using binoculars, the planet earth will not be visible anywhere.

Below is the order of the planets in terms of distance from the sun. Let’s start with the nearest planets to earth.

  • Mercury: 57.91 million km
  • Venus: 108.2 million km
  • Earth: 149.6 million km
  • Mars: 227.9 million km
  • Jupiter: 778.5 million km
  • Saturn: 1.434 billion km
  • Uranus: 2.871 billion km
  • Neptune: 4.495 billion km

The Sun

Nearest Planets to Earth and Planets of the Solar System

The sun is one of the important planets of the solar system. It is 332,946 times largest than earth. Today, scientists think the sun is at its peak and has more fuel left to burn. In addition, sunlight has been increasing with time. Initially, it was only 75% of the current brightness. Helium and hydrogen in the sun suggest that the sun is still at its average age. Over time, the sun’s brightness will increase along with its temperature. The color will go further reddish with time. Hence, the sun will more likely become a red giant in the next five billion years.

Nearest planets to earth: The Mercury

Mercury is closest to earth and very close to the sun and is 57.91 km away from the sun. It is a small but large planet than the Earth’s moon. It is eighteen times smaller than earth. On the other hand, Jupiter is a large planet compared to other planets of the solar system beating out all other planets in both volume and mass.

There are millions of asteroid belts located between Jupiter and Mars. In addition, these asteroids are also rotating around the sun. These are small torus-shaped made up of metals, rocks, and other nonperishable materials. These asteroids ranging in diameter from 10 meters to 1 mm are called meteorites. The meteorites fall on earth we call shooting stars or broken stars.

Nearest planets to earth: Mercury is the closest planet to Earth, orbiting at a speed of about 10,892 kilometers per hour. The Earth’s planet is rotating at about 1000 kilometers per hour. But, our entire planets of the solar system, the suns, etc are rotating at 4 million 9 thousand miles per hour.

The Venus

Venus is the second planet from the sun rotating in opposite directions. Experts say the sun’s gravity switched its axis to 180 degrees. It is rotating at a speed of about 78,337 miles per hour. However, scientists claim that the surface temperature of Venus is 820 – 900 degrees F which becomes an average of 847 degrees F. It is 108.2 km away from the sun.

The Jupiter

Unlike the nearest planets to earth mercury, Jupiter is the largest of all other planets of the solar system. Therefore, it doesn’t rotate around the sun but around the center point. It is 778.5 km away from the sun. The temperature and the pressure on the planet can convert carbon into diamonds. It is the fastest spinning plane.

Conclusion

Undoubtedly, looking at this solar system and our land, The power of God is assured. There are still more to come to be discovered. However, All systems are designed to make life possible for human beings.
